- Description:
- This 5-day class programming class is for experienced AVR for .NET programmers who want to take their applications to the next level. Because so many of the skills required to create a great application aren't limited to either Web or Windows user interfaces, this class replaces the previously-offered 5-Day Advanced AVR for .NET Web programming class. Most of the concepts and topics taught in this class apply to both Windows and Web apps. There are, however, some Web- and Windows-specific sections to this class (see below).
A core part of this class's curriculum is dedicated to teaching how to program effectively with classes. Building and using AVR classes effectively is at the root of virtually every task, Windows or Web, that you need to tackle to build advanced applications. This class devotes quite a bit of time early in the week teaching the intermediate and advanced object-oriented skills you need to work effectively with AVR classes.
After attending this class, you'll have a well-rounded knowledge of how to partition your applications appropriately with classes and how to add many sophisticated capabilities to your Windows and Web applications.
To attend this class you must be an intermediate level AVR for .NET 8.0 programmer with two or three applications under your belt. This class uses AVR for .NET 8.0 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, so experience with those products is assumed. This class covers very little introductory material and by mid-morning Monday morning moves into advanced topics.
Class begins each day at 8:45 AM and concludes by 5:00PM on the final day. Casual attire is recommended for training classes.
